On Saturday, May 29th, 2021, the Coalition of FCT PDP Support Groups stormed Kabusa Ward for sensitization/mobilization of support groups towards the forth coming INEC Voter’s Card registration and Area Councils elections in the FCT come 2022. The meeting was attended by the support groups leaders domiciled in Kabusa Ward.
In his welcome address, Engineer Ezinwa Emeka, Kabusa Ward Coordinator of support groups appreciated all the support groups for coming in order to brainstorm on the best strategies to adopt for voter’s card registration mobilization.

Abraham David set the ball rolling on the needs for all support groups to mobilize their members who are yet to register as voters to do so as INEC will commence registration on 28th June,2021. Kabusa Ward support groups were given targets to register fresh voters of not less than 1,000 persons across the ward.
After listening to the submission by the support groups’ leaders, Hon. Abduljalal Idris (Aljazeera) Coalition Chairman, clarified questions asked by the support groups’ leaders present. Aljazeera also expanded the strategies on how to mobilize people to the registration centres across the ward. He further explained that registration can also be done online through the INEC designated portal before proceeding to registration centres for physical capturing. Aljazeera encouraged support groups’ leaders present to work for PDP in the FCT and let their work show because politics is all about commitment.

Hon. Jankaro Ibrahim C. JP, expressed his joy for the initiative by the support groups to mobilize fresh voters and was delighted that the exercise commenced on time and with his ward. Hon. Jankaro further assured the support groups of his readiness to work with them until the desired victory is attained come 2022.
Ezenmo (South East Traditional Leader) assured the support groups of his support to make sure PDP wins all the polling units in Kabusa Ward.
The support groups’ leaders under Kabusa Ward unanimously declared full support for the following resolutions:
To mobilize not less than 1,000 people to register as fresh voters to obtain voter’s card under the ward.
To deliver the Councillorship and Chairmanship candidates in the 2022 Area Council elections.
To raise polling unit unofficial agents who will monitor party agents, INEC officials in the 2022 elections.

To mobilize people who are registered voters but do not vote during the Area Councils elections to come out and vote for PDP.
